I tried to flash the BIOS of my Compaq CQ35-240TX from HP to F.15, but unfortunately it failed. P. C. on a white screen. When I reboot (shut down, then reboot) this reaction is no longer possible: the hard drive LEDs and the Shift key are probably still on. I thought, “Oh my God! I have to send it to HP for them to fix it! In the BIOS itself, CMOS does not work. Finally, I was able to help you restore BIOS using a USB stick. I offer a disaster recovery procedure for my HP Compaq laptop. You need to prepare another USB flash drive and a computer connected to the Internet (we need to be able toload BIOS image from HP).

The BIOS recovery steps were as follows.

    1. Format the file system of the exposure diskette on a separate computer via USB to FAT16.

    2. Obtain a BIOS image from the HP website (I am using version F15).

Download the BIOS update file (.exe) from the HP website. Run the BIOS update file on another desktop. This will unpack the files. Select the directory to save the information files, and you can close the program for sure. In the selected directory, we can buy WinFlash.exe. Unpack WinFlash.exe using a service such as WinRAR. We can find two .FD files. For my electronic computer and the BIOS version I support, these are two files 306DF15.FD and 306EF15.FD. There are two models of Compaq CQ35 computers, so there are typically two .FD files. You can see in turn which model of computer you are using. In fact, during the “BIOS setup”, you can find another model (we cannot start it ourselves because CMOS is bad)

    3. Copy part of the 306DF15.FD file to the directory of the original USB drive. and rename it to 306D.bin. (file may differ depending on model)

4 crystals. Disconnect the AC adapter and battery from the laptop.

    5. Connect the USB flash drive to your laptop.

    6. Stop the first two thoughts: + Winky B.

    7. Connect the electricity.

    9. As usual, press the power button to turn on the computer.

    10. After each of our laptops has booted up with a short beep, WinKey + B is activated.

    11. The laptop will beep quietly for about a minute and then turn off after full BIOS recovery. If the laptop beeps for more than 3 minutes or more, recovery will fail, possibly due to bad image data or USB flash file not working on the laptop. In this case, try a different tattoo file or a signed USB drive.

Usually, turn on the laptop after resetting the BIOS and you will see the Compaq logo again.

Disclaimer: I just tested the method on my laptop in the current post and am not sure if it will work in a specific modelhi (although others will find it successful after comments). The method within the message is just one best example. If your data is critical, contact a specialist such as HP Lead Service to fix it.

I have upgraded my HP Compaq CQ35-240TX to Bios F.15, but unfortunately it is faulty. The computer turned into a white panel. When I restartI press (turn off, then restart), this is no longer the answer: the hard drive, in addition, the LED of the Shift key is constantly extinguished. I thought, “Oh my God! I do send it to HP Repair for it to be a success! €.

But after doing a little research on the Internet, I would say that there is a “Crisis Recovery” mechanism to restore the BIOS even if the CMOS is not working. I finally managed to restore your current BIOS using a USB hard drive. I will share my HP Compaq Laptop Crisis Recovery Course. You need to prepare a real USB flash drive, another private computer connected to the Internet (we need to download the BIOS image from HP).

    1. Format the USB storage device in FAT16 format for another computer.

    2. Obtain a BIOS image from the HP website (I am using version F15).

Download the BIOS update (exe file) from the HP website. Run the BIOS update file on another computer. This will unpack the records. Choose a directory to save most of the files and you can close the platform. Each of us can call WinFlash.exe in the selected directory. Unpack WinFlash.exe using a program such as WinRAR. We will definitely find two .FD files. For my new computer and the BIOS version I am using, these are two electronic files, 306DF15.FD and 306EF15.FD. There are two products for Compaq CQ35 computers, so there are certainly two .FD files. You will try to analyze the computer model you are using one by one. Actually this model can be found in the “BIOS settings” (we cannot load the item due to a CMOS error)

is 3. Copy the 306DF15.FD file to a directory on the USB stick and rename it to 306D.bin. (the file may be, it all depends on the model)

    9. As usual, press this button electromechanically on the computer.

    11. The laptop will emit a short beep for about a minute, shut down after BIOS recovery. Typically, if the laptop beeps for more than 3 minutes, the restore fails, possibly due to an altogether incorrect image file or the USB stick not working on the entire laptop. In this case, the audience can try a different image file or the next USB stick.

Usually after recovery BIOS you keep turning on your laptop, but you see the Compaq banner again.

Disclaimer: I just tested the method described in the post on this laptop and am not sure if it will work with another model (although judging by the comments, it works for a few others). The Post method is an example solution. If your critical information is critical, contact a professional, such as HP Customer Support, for assistance.
